Description

Conversations 5 is the fifth volume of a setting of Herménégilde Chiasson's poem of the same name. Volume 5 adapts lines 403-501 and is characterized by a subtle exchange between two voices – one sung, the other quietly spoken – and viola and cello. The pieces have a calm meditative quality. It was commissioned by Galerie Sans Nom for the 2012 RE:FLUX Festival. Premiered on May 29, 2012.
